At the end of the course students will be:
Students are required to learn basic medicine, clinical medicine and preventive medicine. They should have a good command of basic theories and technologies of preventive medicine, nutrition and food hygiene, and health inspection, have abilities to solve practical issues of public health and preventive medicine, and also have initially acquired abilities to analyze and process public health emergencies. Students should meet basic requirements for national licensed practitioner in preventive medicine and obtain the following knowledge and abilities:
Major disciplines: basic medicine, clinical medicine, public health and preventive medicine Main courses: physiology, biochemistry, anthropotomy, pathogeny biology, pharmacology, pathology, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, paidology, lemology, health statistics, epidemiology, environmental hygiene, occupational health and occupational medicine, nutrition and food hygiene, hygiene toxicology, microbiology, hygienic chemistry.
Preventive medicine, health inspection, nutrition and food science are the three orientations of the major. Early stage convergence and late stage distributaries was adopted as cultivation mode. We emphasis on cultivating solid theoretical foundations and abundant medical knowledge for students; pay great attention to training them comprehensive abilities in practices of public health and preventive medicine and value innovation capacity increasing.

Bachelor of Medicine
Having good quality of physical and morality, fit for school criterions of morality and physical education Completion of every teaching link in the program, and finish all required 256 credits within schedule, including 207 credits of theory teaching and 49 credits of practice teaching. Major of prevention medicine (Health inspection orientation) (5 years) required to complete of every teaching link in the program, and finish all required 263 credits within schedule, including 214 credits of theory teaching and 49 credits of practice teaching. Major of prevention medicine (Nutrition and food science orientation) (5 years) required to complete of every teaching link in the program, and finish all required 257.5 credits within schedule, including 208.5 credits of theory teaching and 49 credits of practice teaching. |
