According to the work arrangement of "introduction plan of overseas quality courses for undergraduates of Jilin University", the Department of medical informatics of School of public health invited Lina Zhou, director of Information System Department of University of Maryland, to teach the course of "social network analysis and application" for undergraduates from July 4 to 8, 2017. The course has 30 class hours, which is divided into five teaching contents: theory teaching, practical application, communication and answering, English report and homework. There are 52 undergraduate students majoring in information management and information system (medical information management) in 2013, and 7 doctoral and master students from the school of public health, School of management, School of computer science and other colleges.
