On December 24, 2017, the qualification evaluation meeting of the master of public health professional degree authorization point of Jilin University was held in the conference room on the second floor of the school of public health. Ding Yachun, director of the personnel training office of the medical department of Jilin University, Li Juan, President of the school of public health, Zhao Guoli, Secretary of the Party committee, and other team members, director of the Third Committee of Jilin University, all members of the academic degree sub committee of Jilin University, Department directors, and all members of the qualification evaluation leading group and working group of Jilin University attended the meeting. Five well-known experts in this discipline were invited to serve as judges. They were Professor Sun Changhao, vice president of Harbin Medical University, Professor Huang Guowei, Dean of School of public health of Tianjin Medical University, Professor Tan Hongzhuan, Dean of School of public health of Central South University, Professor Ren Tao, vice president of school of public health of Peking University, and Professor Su Zhongmin, deputy director of Jilin Provincial Department of education. Professor Sun Changhao is the leader of the expert group of this assessment. The evaluation meeting was presided over by Professor Yu Xihe, vice president.

At the beginning of the evaluation meeting, director Ding Yachun introduced to the experts the background, purpose, working methods and process of the discipline qualification evaluation organized by Jilin University; Then, Professor Li Juan, President of the hospital, made an evaluation report to the experts from the aspects of professional degree training objectives, teaching staff, personnel training, scientific research, system construction, practice base construction and practice assessment. After carefully listening to the evaluation report, the evaluation experts held discussions with the participants on the evaluation work, and carried out in-depth and extensive exchanges on related issues. Finally, combined with the evaluation system and relevant supporting materials, the evaluation experts give full affirmation and high evaluation to the construction of master of public health professional degree authorization points, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the construction of degree points.  

This evaluation meeting is of great significance to the discipline construction and personnel training of the master of public health degree authorization point of Jilin University, and will also play an important role in promoting the future development of the degree authorization point.
