At 9:30 a.m. on January 20, the 2017 master of public health degree awarding ceremony of the school of public health was solemnly held in the academic lecture hall of the school. The leaders, department heads, department directors, relevant teachers, 2017 degree winners and 2015 student representatives of the school of public health attended the degree awarding ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Yu Xihe, vice president of the school of public health.

The ceremony of conferring academic degrees began with the solemn sound of the national anthem. Professor Liu Yawen, vice president of the school of public health, read out the list of winners of the 2017 master's degree in public health, outstanding student leaders, outstanding dissertation authors and outstanding instructors of the school of public health of Jilin University. The leaders presented honorary certificates to students and instructors. Then, Professor Li Juan, Dean of the school of public health, director of the academic degree committee and doctoral supervisor of the school of public health, and Professor Liu ya, director of the academic committee and doctoral supervisor of the school of public health, jointly awarded professional degree certificates and degrees to the graduates.

Yu Qiong, associate professor of the Department of epidemiology and health statistics, School of public health, delivered a speech as a teacher's representative, placing great hope on all degree winners; Yao Guangming spoke on behalf of all the degree winners, expressing his deep gratitude to his alma mater and his teachers, and his confidence in applying the knowledge he has learned.
