At present, he is the director of Department of Radiology and Department of radiobiology, School of public health.

He graduated from Bethune Medical University in 1988 with a master's degree in preventive medicine in 1993, a doctor's degree in radiation medicine in 2001, and a postdoctoral program in biology of Northeast Normal University in 2004. He has been a visiting scholar in Japan and South Korea. He is also a member of the society of radiation medicine and protection of Chinese Medical Association, vice chairman of the society of radiation medicine and protection of Jilin Medical Association, and executive director of the nuclear society; At the same time, he is also the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of radiation medicine and protection, International Journal of radiation medicine and nuclear medicine and Journal of radiation protection.

He has been engaged in radiobiology teaching and scientific research for many years, and has undertaken more than 10 scientific research projects as the project leader (3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 University Doctoral Program Fund Project of the Ministry of education, 1 industry special fund of the Ministry of health, 1 science and Technology Commission fund of Jilin Province, 1 international cooperation project, etc.). He once won the second and third prizes of science and technology progress in Jilin Province, and won the title of "the 14th batch of young and middle-aged professional and technical talents with outstanding contributions in Jilin Province" in 2016. The main research direction is radiation immunology and radiation oncology. Nearly 100 academic papers have been published, of which nearly 40 papers are included in SCI, and the highest impact factor of single paper is 8.8.
