Sponsored by the radiation medicine and protection branch of the Chinese Medical Association and organized by the school of public health and management of Wenzhou Medical University, the 10th National Academic Exchange Conference on Radiation Medicine and protection of the Chinese Medical Association was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province from November 14 to 16, 2019. More than 160 representatives from 62 institutions and enterprises including universities, scientific research institutes, centers for Disease Control and prevention and hospitals attended the meeting. Led by Professor Jin shunzi, Associate Professor Zhao Gang, Associate Professor Wang Zhenqi, Associate Professor Wang Zhicheng, Associate Professor Shen Yannan and six graduate students attended the conference.

During the meeting, the Standing Committee meeting of radiation medicine and protection branch of Chinese Medical Association and the founding meeting of the 11th Youth Committee of radiation medicine and protection branch of Chinese Medical Association were held. After several rounds of voting, four vice chairmen were selected from 51 young members of the National Committee. As a representative of the national institutions of higher learning, Associate Professor Wang Zhicheng was elected as vice chairman.

The conference provides an academic exchange platform for young and middle-aged scientific and technological workers across the country to exchange the latest research progress and achievements in this field, so as to achieve the purpose of mutual exchange, opening up ideas, strengthening cooperation, and promoting discipline development and personnel training. Academic exchanges were conducted in the form of invited reports, conference reports, branch reports and excellent papers selection. A total of 13 papers and abstracts were submitted in our hospital. Professor Jin shunzi made a special invited report on the regulation mechanism of Nrp1 in radiation resistance and metastasis of alveolar cells, Associate Professor Wang Zhicheng made the conference report of "Research on radiosensitization effect of tumor based on ROS / mitochondria / autophagy axis". In the selection of excellent papers, Dr. Dong Zhuo, Liu Cuihua and Tang Geng respectively won the first prize, the third prize and the excellent prize, and won the praise of domestic peers. They won honor for the school of public health of Jilin University and made contributions to improving the popularity of Radiology specialty in our hospital.
