In order to enhance the international competitiveness of students in the school of public health, at the invitation of the University of Florida, a group of 9 teachers and students from the school of public health of Jilin University went to the University of Florida for a 10 day study exchange from November 17 to November 26, 2019. During the study exchange in the United States, the teachers and students of the school of public health of Jilin University randomly went to class according to the curriculum provided by the University of Florida in the United States, personally experienced the teaching methods of the University of Florida teachers, and actively participated in the teacher-student interaction and learning report. During the study exchange in the United States, I also visited the medical school, library and fitness center of the University of Florida, and had a discussion with undergraduates and Chinese students of the University of Florida to learn about the study and life of students of the University of Florida. This exchange visit enables students to experience the reality of foreign classroom teaching, broaden their international vision, and benefit teachers and students.

The University of Florida still charges authorization fees for each bottle of Gatorade drinks, the students who participated in the program wrote in their project summary after returning home. This is a classic case of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in American universities. At present, China is vigorously promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements in Colleges and universities. Such cases bring us more thinking: how to push the scientific research achievements in the laboratory to the market and face the public? To serve the people and meet the people's yearning for a better life is a new requirement and task for scientific researchers in the new era.
