1、 College introduction

The school of public health of Jilin University was founded in 1958. Through the efforts of several generations, it has developed into a teaching and research base of public health and related disciplines with strong comprehensive strength and distinctive characteristics. After more than 60 years of development, it has trained a large number of talents in the field of public health and preventive medicine for the country. At present, the college has three post doctoral research stations: public health and preventive medicine, basic medicine (Radiology), and public management (Social Medicine and health management); The first level doctoral degree authorization points of public health and preventive medicine and the second level doctoral degree authorization points of Radiology, social medicine and health management; The major of master's degree is: epidemiology and health statistics, labor health and environmental hygiene, health toxicology, nutrition and food hygiene, medical informatics, special medicine, social medicine and health management, and public health.

2、 Eligibility

1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, willing to serve the socialist modernization construction, good moral quality, law-abiding, physical and mental health, good moral character, no disciplinary action during school. Strong interest in academic research, good professional quality, strong innovative consciousness and ability, and high cultivation potential.

2. National undergraduate students (graduated in 2022) have obtained or will obtain the recommended postgraduate qualification of exemption from examination.

3. Good English level, CET-4 score above 425.

4. The admission principle of the major to be applied for in this summer camp: the applicant's conditions should meet the requirements of the postgraduate enrollment directory in 2022.

3、 Schedule

This summer camp will be held from July 1 to July 10, 2021, in the form of network remote video. The online communication time is about 1-2 days. The main activities include college and subject introduction, individual academic ability display, online face-to-face communication with young scholars and excellent campers assessment. The specific time will be announced later.

4、 Relevant policies

Our college will review the application materials submitted by students and their comprehensive performance during the summer camp. On the basis of meeting the relevant requirements and policies of our college, we can directly accept as "free students" of Jilin University, and take the major I applied for in the "application form" as my reference for admission in the future; After admission, all students who have been exempted will be awarded academic scholarships in the first academic year.

5、 Declaration method

1. Online registration

Students who apply for the summer camp must pass the "Summer Camp Registration System" of Jilin University (the website is https://yzb.jlu.edu.cn/ ）Those who have not registered in the system will not be admitted. Note that the information of all electronic application materials must be completely consistent with the online information, otherwise the registration will be affected.

2. Submission

(1) Application form for 2021 academic summer camp for national excellent college students (Annex 1);

(2) One copy of the transcript, which needs to be stamped with the official seal of the educational administration department;

(3) Other supporting materials - Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (CET-4, CET-6 certificate, etc.), award-winning materials and published papers.

The above application materials should be arranged in the order of the above list. After all signatures and seals are completed, color scanning or photos (PDF format) should be taken. 6、 Others

According to the academic level and scientific research ability of the applicants, our college will conduct the qualification examination for the shortlisted applicants. The shortlisted list will be announced before June 30. Meanwhile, we will release the schedule of summer camp and the network remote operation process. Please pay attention to it at any time.
