Division of radiation injury and clinical was founded in November 1961. The discipline of radiation injury and clinical was authorized in 1978 to offer Master Degree program in Radio medicine. There are three members in the division, including one professor, one associate professor and one lecturer. All the faculty members have Doctoral Degrees; two are supervisors for Master Degree students. The faculty members undertake the 5-year Medicine program and 7-year medicine program. Teach radiation injury and clinical, radiation cytogenetics and public health emergencies courses to undergraduates majoring in Radiation Medicine. The courses of radiation cytogenetics, radiation injury, genetics were set up for postgraduate and radiation injury, genetics were set up for doctors. The research interests include diagnosis standard for radiation disease, the prevention of radiation injury by pharmaceutical agents, radiotherapy research by tumor-gene. Seven projects were provided by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, fund of the Ministry of Health was nine, eight provincial research. More than two hundreds, including about ten SCI publications. The provincial scientific research achievement award was four. Drafting of national occupational health standards was five, and ten books were published.
