On April 12, 2023, the Young Scholars Association (YSA) of the School of Public Health, Jilin University, successfully held the 21st session of exchange activities in the second-floor Radiobiology Conference Room at the School. Thirteen young faculty members from the YSA participated in this exchange activity. The event was hosted by YSA Vice President Feng Jia.

This exchange activity invited Professor Zhang Yunqiu, Director of the Department of Medical Informatics, to give a doctoral supervisor's special lecture on the topic "Data Fusion Issues in Application Scenarios of Digital Health Sub-fields." Professor Zhang Yunqiu gave a vivid presentation covering the national strategic layout of digital healthcare, the connotation and characteristics of health and medical big data, and data fusion issues in domain-specific application scenarios. The participating young faculty members actively engaged in interactive questioning and expressed that they had greatly benefited from the lecture. This lecture broadened the academic horizons of the young faculty members at the School and laid a good foundation for interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation between public health and other disciplines.
