On April 23, 2025, the 34th session of the Young Scholars Association (YSA) activity was successfully held in the second-floor Radiobiology Conference Room at the School of Public Health, Jilin University. This exchange activity had the privilege of inviting Dingxin Postdoctoral Fellow Jin Mengdi from our School, whose research primarily focuses on molecular epidemiology related to schizophrenia. Nearly 20 young faculty members from our School participated in this exchange activity, which was hosted by YSA President Yang Shuman.
Postdoctoral Fellow Jin Mengdi shared her research under the theme "Molecular Epidemiological Study of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Biomarkers for Schizophrenia," presenting her work on screening diagnostic molecular biomarkers for schizophrenia patients and validating the diagnostic and therapeutic value of the identified biomarkers. She also shared her preliminary research findings and the research value of radiomics analysis of imaging information from schizophrenia patients. Subsequently, there was a lively discussion centered around Postdoctoral Fellow Jin Mengdi's research, with participants showing great interest in her work. This activity provided a platform for young scholars to gain a deeper understanding and engage in in-depth discussions on molecular epidemiological research of schizophrenia.
