On October 10, 2025, with the support of the School's Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, the 37th session of the Young Scholars Association (YSA) activity was successfully held in the second-floor Radiobiology Conference Room at the School of Public Health, Jilin University. This event featured Associate Professor Guo Yuanyuan (Tangkuang Young Scholar) from the Department of Epidemiology and Health Statistics at our School, whose research primarily focuses on the detection of foodborne pathogens. The event was held offline, with over ten young faculty members from our School participating.

Associate Professor Guo delivered a presentation on cutting-edge topics in the field of health inspection, titled "Research on Detection of Foodborne Pathogens Based on Bioimprinted Composite Membranes." She provided a detailed introduction to her doctoral and postdoctoral research, including various methods for detecting Staphylococcus aureus using imprinted polymer membranes and the evaluation of their detection performance. The participating faculty engaged in lively discussions on this topic, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the application prospects and challenges of bioimprinting technology in the rapid detection of foodborne pathogens.

This event not only provided a valuable platform for young faculty members to engage in in-depth exchanges with outstanding scholars in the field of health inspection, but also significantly broadened their academic perspectives and innovative thinking regarding new technologies in food safety detection. It effectively promoted the professional development and research capacity enhancement of young faculty members, fostered a favorable educational environment and growth ecosystem, and played a positive role in advancing the development of related disciplines at our School.
