On April 15, 2026, the 39th session of the Young Scholars Association (YSA) activity was successfully held in the second-floor Radiobiology Conference Room at the School of Public Health, Jilin University. This exchange activity focused on the application and technological iteration of advanced scientific research instruments, and featured a technical exchange lecture by Li Kang, Product Manager of Agilent Technologies. More than 20 young faculty members and graduate students from our School participated in this exchange activity.
During the session, Li Kang delivered a detailed presentation on the Agilent Cytation Live-Cell Confocal Imaging System, with emphasis on its core application scenarios, technical advantages, and value in the field of tumor research. The attending faculty and students showed strong interest in this system, engaging in discussions on the types of experiments that can be conducted using our School's existing Cytation 3 Live-Cell Confocal Imaging System, its technical applications, and current limitations. They also gained insight into the technical upgrades of the Cytation C10 system and the expansion of its application scope. This activity enabled faculty and students to gain a deeper understanding of the technical capabilities and application methods of our School's existing research equipment, as well as to become familiar with the development trends of cutting-edge instrumentation. It provided a platform for broadening research perspectives and enriching research methodologies.
