In order to promote the formation of the medical (health) education collaborative education mechanism and cultivate high-level application-oriented public health talents with rich academic background, solid professional knowledge and excellent practical ability, the School of Public Health pays attention to the reform of the postgraduate curriculum system and the implementation of teaching tasks, and increases the proportion of practical teaching based on the integration of production and education, and improves the ability of the graduate students to combine theoretical and practical knowledge. On December 7, 2021, in the multi-function hall on the first floor of the college, 2021 graduate students were invited to give a lecture on COVID-19, and experts with rich background in infectious disease prevention and control and field epidemiological investigation experience were invited to give lectures on "Field Investigation Techniques of Infectious Disease Epidemiology" and "COVID-19 Cases in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province".

On the morning of December 7, Chief Physician Zhao Qinglong, director of the Emergency Response Office of the Jilin Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, gave offline lectures to our graduate students; On the afternoon of December 8, Shui Tiejun, deputy director of the Leprosy Prevention and Control Institute of Yunnan Center for Disease Control and Prevention, deputy chief physician, shared the "COVID-19 Case in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province" online. Zhao Qinglong shared real cases for everyone, and described in detail how to use the big data decision analysis platform to help prevent and control COVID-19, and enumerated the key role of big data in the investigation and analysis of COVID-19 transmission chain, case traceability, and close contact management. In view of the outstanding problems in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 at land ports in the current import of foreign defense against the COVID-19, Tax Tiejun took the epidemic prevention and control in Dehong Prefecture of Yunnan Province as an example to teach the measures and experience of COVID-19 prevention and control in Yunnan Province, so that students can more intuitively feel the necessity and difficulty of implementing China's dynamic zero epidemic prevention policy.

According to the feedback after class, the graduate students gained a lot from participating in this round of lectures. They not only learned the specific contents of the prevention and control of the COVID-19, but also realized the spirit of the front-line prevention and control personnel to be brave and dedicated. At the same time, they strengthened their determination to improve themselves and devote themselves to the public health cause of the motherland. This online and offline mixed teaching practice, the linkage teaching of off-campus tutors and practice bases, provides referential experience for the innovation of teaching mode in the context of epidemic situation.
